City of Jinan to eliminate all dogs even if they are registered pets and vaccinated

Dayang New District in the eastern city of Jinan has issued a dictat that dog owners must either get rid of their pet dogs or get them eliminated by staffers who would come to the house and bludgeon the pet to death.
This has been reported in nzherald.co.nz dated 12 September 2015.
The owners are faced with little or no choice – the notice posted on doors and gateposts categorically states that no person is permitted to keep a dog of any kind. The area consists mostly high-rise apartment blocks.
The owners should deal with it on his own, or the committee will organize people to enter the house and club the dog to death right there. Dog ownership is tightly regulated in China, and Regional governments have killed stray animals before, but the latest order of Dayang covers dogs that have been registered and vaccinated.
